The first couple of years of the new century brought about an unprecedented boom in gaming. With consoles, PCs and mobile devices becoming faster, cheaper and more accessible than ever before, the industry reached a point where it became difficult to know just what to play next.

The “cedo meaning” is a guide that tells players what to do and how to play. It also includes a list of the best builds for the year 2021.

The ancient Orokin proverb “the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree” holds true while employing the Cedo, the Warframe Lavos’ hallmark weapon.

The Cedo is a mastery 8 shotgun that is the Warframe Lavos’ trademark weapon, and like other signature weapons, it includes built-in Warframe utility.

When you utilize the Warframe Lavos with it, the Cedo receives automatic shotgun ammunition mutation, which means that no matter what ammo type drops, it will always be transmuted to the shotgun ammo that the Cedo uses.

This just adds to the fact that the Cedo is an excellent primer for Lavos’ ability to apply nearly any status in the game, as you’ll see.

The Cedo is split into two components, the first of which is a conventional fully automatic shotgun that fires buckshot shells with a higher-than-average crit probability.

Cedo’s Biography

When it comes to the Cedos main fire, the ability to deliver greater damage with each separate condition impact hitting the adversary is what sets this shotgun apart from the others.

The actual value of the Cedo is not only understood, but also completely used, thanks to Lavos’ ability to inflict several status effects to a group of foes.

Although the thought may cross your mind that “you can’t always take Lavos when using the Cedo,” or “what if you don’t have Lavos and the Cedo?” While it is an excellent question, the Cedo’s alternative fire also answers it.

The Cedo’s alternative fire is a glaive that shoots out and bursts, delivering significant status damage to foes while also triggering the modified status chance and enhancing the Cedo’s passive ability.

The Cedo’s main fire only does standard damage and has no additional inherent elemental kinds.

This implies it performs the regular damage kinds of slash, impact, and puncture, however in the case of the Cedo, it only does puncture on the basic damage and is impacted by status mods like sweeping serration.

The main fire will always deal pierce damage while using the Cedo sans the extra upgrades.

The glaive projectile deals basic slash damage and is impacted by status chance mods and multishot, which means you may not only proc status with the glaive, but you can also fire numerous glaives with their own bounce and travel direction.

The glaive explosion, which occurs when the glaive bounces off an adversary or a wall, has an extremely high base status probability of 50% and deals base blast damage, staggering foes when struck.

The Cedo’s are an alchemically ideal response to the age-old dilemma of the Tenno’s opponents, thanks to the main fire’s high crit chance and crit multiplier mixed with the alternative fire’s high status.

Where Can I Get Cedo and How Do I Get It?

The Cedo is difficult to get. With a mastery rating of 8, the Cedo seems to be a very simple weapon to obtain, but there is a catch. You’ll need access to the open world of Deimos to receive the Cedo.

Not to mention that you must get rank 4 with the Entrati family in order to obtain the Cedo’s primary blueprint, and rank 5 is required to purchase its individual components.

If you are motivated, getting these ranks will take many days, not only because of the time constraints, but also because you can only acquire 20k standing each day for the Entrati family, and then there are the things necessary to rank up, which will take even longer.

Don’t be deceived by its low mastery level; surviving Deimos’ basic objectives will need having access to strong weapons, Warframes, and companions, implying that by the time you contemplate receiving the Cedo, you will have surpassed the weapon’s mastery 8 requirement.

When it comes to construction, the most inconvenient aspect is that it necessitates the use of prefabricated forms, which is inconvenient given how crucial they are in general.

The Most Important Features

1) The main fire

The Cedo employs shotgun ammunition and shotgun upgrades as a member of the Shotgun weapon class in Warframe. It performs the basic damage types of slash, impact, or puncture, as do most weapons, but only puncture without any further modifiers.

It has medium shotgun accuracy, which means you’ll have to approach close to effectively exploit its damage, and it has intrinsic punch through, which means each shot will travel through many foes per firing.

Because initial damage kinds of weapons like slash are considered status types in the game, a full-on slash build would still benefit from the weapon’s ability to deliver additional damage to foes depending on this.

Another element to consider with primary fire is that the shots are “Hit scan,” which means that as long as the Cedo’s reticule lines up with an opponent and there are enemies in the projectile’s travel path, it will hit an enemy, albeit this is subject to distance between enemies due to damage falloff.

2) Switch off the fires.

image-11

The Cedo is unusual in that it is essentially two weapons in one; it is a high-crit shotgun with an explosive glaive attached to it.

When it comes into touch with an adversary or a surface, this glaive bounces up to 11 times before exploding.

It is impacted by multi shot, which means you may fire several glaives at once, and it is also a Hit scan like ordinary shots, but you must wait for the first glaive you fired to return to you before firing another.

3) Detonation

The Cedo’s damage culminates in a massive status explosion that absorbs any additional status types provided to the weapon.

When the glaive collides with an adversary or a surface, it bursts, inflicting basic blast damage with no extra status modifiers, and then bounces up to 10 times more after the initial bounce, for a total of 11 bounces.

If you’re in a confined place, this explosion has a range of 6 meters and may be used many times on a group of foes.

Cedo’s Advantages

The Cedo comes with a slew of benefits that make it a must-have for every tenno. Despite its pre-determined synergy with Lavos, it also has synergy with a slew of other Warframes capable of constantly procing status effects.

Nidus, Saryn, Ember, and Frost are just a few examples, not to mention the fact that it is incredibly powerful against opponent armour because to its basic pierce damage.

Even if you don’t want to completely commit to the status build, the Cedo’s strong crit chance and crit multiplier mean you can easily run a crit and slash build while still reaping the benefits of its passive.

With a multi shot of 6 pellets each with 0.8-meter punch through, it boasts one of the highest multi shots of all the shotguns in the game.

The fact that the Cedo’s main fire does 60 percent more damage to the adversary for each unique state is the largest advantage for the Cedo.

The alternative fire has its own set of perks. For starters, its high slash means that foes without armour would suffer.

It has a default status chance of 50%, and with minimum status modifications, you can get it to over 100% status, which means you’ll always receive the equipped status type, explosions, and a number of glaives discharged from the weapon scale with multishot, which means you can unleash numerous glaives.

There is no damage fall off within a 6 meter radius of the explosion, and it has a large magazine capacity of 40 rounds, ensuring minimum interruptions. It also comes with two Madurai polarities, reducing the amount of time required to add suitable modifications to the weapon.

Cedo’s disadvantages

Despite the fact that I have complimented the Cedo so highly, it is important to highlight that the weapon does have certain drawbacks that may be a deal breaker for some.

The first is that, in order to truly profit from this weapon, you definitely must have some form of status type on the adversary.

Without several status procs, the Cedo’s damage soon drops from one of the highest in the game to average.

This is because it has one of the lowest basic damage of any shotgun in the game, but it compensates for it with a unique passive that increases with the number of unique status procs on the adversary.

Because the main fire can only deal puncture, you must depend on the glaive for slash procs, which may rapidly become a problem due to the glaive’s long travel time.

Even if you are in a tight location, you must be cautious about the glaive’s explosion since it might bounce around randomly and detonate with each bounce.

If it bounces close to you, it may stagger you in the middle of a fight, so you’ll need to pay attention to where the glaive is flying or you’ll have problems.

Cedo Builds at their Finest

What about Cedo’s creations? Here are a few of our favorites!

1) Typical Crit Build (Status 3 Forma)

image-13

For the Cedo, this is a normal three-forma construction. Because of the glaive’s high status, this build focuses on attempting to achieve as many crits as possible while still dealing heat damage for the armour reduction to synergize with the weapon’s high basic puncture damage.

While firing rate is a must-have on this weapon, we could easily squeeze more out of it by committing more effort to it and further improving on it.

2) Crit Build for Endurance Runs (Status 3 Forma)

image-14

This build, like the previous one, is designed for endurance runs; although critical deceleration slows the weapon’s firing rate, it provides an 80 percent higher probability of crit than a laser sight.

And as long as you maintain collecting kills, shrapnel shot will give you 99 percent crit damage, indicating that this build will deal more damage in the long term than the previous version, although it is definitely advisable to continue with the prior build for short missions.

3) Beginner Build (Standard Status) (Status 7 Forma)

image-15

This is the version I suggest to the majority of people because, although the prior build works, it could be better, which is what this build strives to do.

Because the glaive will always proc the built status effect, it is advisable to attempt and acquire as much good status on it as possible. This build does this by raising the basic status by 140 percent by applying the status mods Toxic Barrage and freezing blast.

It should be noted that the Shotgun Spazz isn’t required, but rather a personal taste, and you may simply replace it with another status mod of your choosing.

4) Endurance Crit Build for Endgame (Status 6 Forma)

image-43

This build not only takes use of the Cedo’s crit chance, but also exploits its high status on its alternative fire.

It’s best to aim for maximum firing rate and crit chance while reducing some of the damage modifications for things like hunter munitions, which gives you more slash, which means more damage for the Cedo.

This is more of an endurance build, as it makes use of vigilante supplies to keep you from running out of ammunition, galvanized hell and savvy to keep you from falling off, and scales with the number of foes killed.

5) Endurance Status Build for Endgame (Status 4 Forma)

image-17

This is the build I would choose since I am more concerned with the status effects and the firing rate can be easily corrected with arcanes.

Galvanized smart guarantees that you get more status with each opponent killed, Galvanized Hell ensures that you gain more multishot for each enemy slain, and Galvanized acceleration ensures that the projectile speed of your Glaive keeps growing as you go.

Although one disadvantage of this design is that it is quite costly in terms of endoscopy (not to mention you could easily run out of ammo).

As a result, it is suggested that you bring a Warframe or buddy who can help you with this.

The “cedo sister build” is a guide to the best builds for the Cedo League in 2021.
